Hello everybody,
The poem that I would like to share with you today is called:
“Tell Me About Your Wrongdoings”.
It means a lot to me because it's an appeal to all of you to not hide behind the facade of self-glory and perfectness but to be open and truthful about our shortcomings and our flaws. I believe that is the pathway to true human connection.
Tell me about your Wrongdoings
Dear Friend
Come here
Tell me
About your wrongdoings
That torment your soul
As your words
Stumble over your lips
I’ll be there
To catch them
And to place them
Into the secret garden
Of our trust
Where heaviness
Finds ground to fall on
And then blossoms into lightness
Oh friend,
Tell me what torments your soul
About how you disappointed yourself and others
Tell me
And as the words dare forward
And get stuck at the cliff of your lips
I’ll pull them over so they can fall
From self-condemnation into recognition
From hiding into existence
And once you are done
You’ll see
I’ll still be there
We’ll see it through
Together.
Warm wishes,
Rose
P.S. Be a good listener to those who need your quiet presence.
Rose,
Such a beautiful poem! It captures two things for me: not only the need for letting go of our wrongdoings, but also the gift we give others through friendship in being there as support in the process.

Persuasive set of words, that can entice one to free themselves of their cautious conscience, that inner feeling or voice to keep it to themselves, and share their wrongdoings.
